The Department of Angiology offers a wide range of services covering the full spectrum of vascular diseases both in the outpatient and inpatient sections.
Angiology is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients suffering from peripheral vascular disorders.
Our service includes state-of-the-art invasive and non-invasive imaging of the arterial, venous and lymphatic systems as well as treatment of circulation disorders, and works closely together with the department of cardiovascular surgery, improving the quality of our practice, assuring the best treatment and result for our patients.
Our angiological services consists of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of changes and/or illnesses of the arteries, veins andlymphatic vessels.

We offer an extensive and complete examination and treatment of acute and chronic vascular diseases.
Lymphatic vessels
Illnesses relating to the lymphatic vessels are much rarer than those related to veins. Some swelling in the legs is often linked to a lymph oedema, which must be differentiated from vascular diseases through a number of examinations.
