The Service uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide a complete range of services for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders.
Excel Medical Center is a tertiary care facility with all specialties relevant to Neurosurgery including Neurology, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology, Anesthesia, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics. Onsite facilities include CT scanning, angiography, radionucleotide scanning, ultrasound, and electro-diagnostic testing (including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and MEG).
This facility will have one dedicated neurosurgical operating rooms, a CT, and a biplanar angiography. There is also a new larger 9-bed intensive care unit. This new facility will significantly expand our capacity and provide significantly enhanced treatment.
The Department of Neurosurgery has surgeons who specialize in all phases of neurological surgery for comprehensive management of brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve diseases and disorders.
