Tijuana is now a city of over 1 million people.
The San Ysidro Port of Entry to the United States is the busiest border crossing in the world.
Tijuana's close proximity to San Diego California has made it a tourist destination for decades, reaching back to the time of prohibition in the United States when
Americans, including Hollywood stars and starlets flocked to Mexico for horse racing, gambling and legal alcohol.
Tijuana has changed greatly since then. Centro Medico Excel is located in the Rio Zone of Tijuana. It is a new area of the city and is full of sights familiar to Americans.
We are on a broad, three lined boulevard. You will pass a Costco as you enter The Rio Zone. There is a statue of Abraham Lincoln at the traffic circle just before the Hospital. There is a Dominos Pizza just beyond our building and a Starbucks Coffee Shop across the Street. There is an Office Depot two doors down from us.
You will find every need or convenience if not in the hospital itself, within a block or two easy walking distances from the hospital.
If you forgot something from home, or need something while you're here, just ask our staff. Nothing is too much trouble, we're here to serve you.
